A little about me
Hi, I’m Jodie.
I know that reaching out for support isn’t always easy. You might have been carrying things on your own for a long time, or perhaps you’re at a point where something needs to change—but you’re not quite sure where to start.
That’s where I come in.
Why I do this work
My journey to becoming a full time therapist has been fun and at times unexpected, but I have such a huge sense of gratitude to be able to work with my clients to achieve, at times, life changing results together. Through both my personal experiences and my work supporting emotional wellbeing in schools, I’ve seen just how much people hold beneath the surface—often quietly, and often for years.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, having experienced first-hand how much this stage of life can affect your emotions, confidence and sense of self. This led me to develop my award-winning Harmony Renewal Technique, bringing together different therapeutic approaches in a way that feels both supportive and transformative. At the same time, my practice has naturally grown to include a wide range of clients—including many men—each bringing their own unique experiences, challenges and goals.
How I work
There isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” approach in my practice.
I work intuitively and collaboratively, drawing on counselling, hypnotherapy, Reiki and EFT to create a space that feels right for you. Some clients come needing to talk things through, others want tools to feel calmer or more in control, some aren’t sure what they need yet and that’s absolutely okay. Over time, I’ve supported many clients through periods of anxiety, overwhelm and life transition, helping them find a greater sense of balance and clarity.
We simply start where you are.
What matters most to me is that you feel:
comfortable
respected
never judged
able to be yourself
Because real change happens when you feel safe enough to explore what’s really going on.
Qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor and hypnotherapist.
I am an accredited registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), as well as a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society.
I have been practising Reiki since 2013, and my background includes working as a Teaching Assistant and Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), supporting emotional wellbeing in educational settings.
These experiences continue to shape the way I work—gently, patiently, and with genuine care.
A little more personally
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking in the Cotswolds with my dog—something I find grounding and restorative.
You're very welcome here
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
If you’re considering taking that first step, I’ll meet you with warmth, understanding and respect—just as you are.
So, that was a little about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know a little about you!
Jodie
