Feel calmer, more in control, and better able to cope.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling with emotions that feel difficult to manage, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), often known as tapping, can be a gentle and effective way to support you.
What is EFT also known as tapping therapy?
EFT is a calming technique that combines elements of psychology with gentle tapping on specific points on the body.
As we talk through what’s been going on for you, we use tapping to help regulate your nervous system allowing your mind and body to process emotions in a way that feels safe and manageable.
It’s simple, non-invasive, and can be incredibly powerful.
What can EFT help with?
EFT can be particularly helpful if you’re experiencing:
anxiety or overwhelm
stress or emotional pressure
difficulty switching off or relaxing
unresolved emotions or past experiences
fears, phobias or unhelpful patterns
physical tension linked to emotional stress
It can also be a useful tool when something feels too difficult to talk about directly, helping to gently reduce the intensity of those feelings.
How it works in sessions
EFT sessions are always led by you and your comfort levels.
We work together to find the right words and focus for what you’re experiencing, while using tapping to support emotional release and regulation.
Many clients find that EFT helps them feel calmer quite quickly, and over time, it can help to shift deeper patterns and responses.
A tool you can use beyond sessions
One of the things I love about EFT is that it gives you something practical to take away.
It can become a supportive technique you use between sessions, helping you manage emotions in everyday life and feel more in control when things feel overwhelming.
My approach
I often use EFT alongside counselling, hypnotherapy and Reiki as part of a more holistic, tailored approach.
This means we’re not just managing symptoms—we’re supporting deeper, lasting change in a way that feels right for you.
Many people are surprised by how quickly it can help them feel calmer and more settled.
